„Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity.“ That’s the phrase Seneca used to describe – a coincidence. However, the risk of the player always precedes the gambler’s luck. Hazard also means: Stake everything on one card - dedicate yourself to one thing! Fadhel Boubaker, Jonathan Sell and Dominik Fürstberger tried their luck together – and won! A lucky strike, created through the combination of talent, the joy of playing and a lucky coincidence.

Based on a perfect interplay between oud, double bass and drums, the three musicians create an intricate braiding of jazz beats and maqam arabesques, of Eastern finesse and Western assertiveness, crossing all stylistical borders.
